The Kendall Homestead is an 1800’s farm house In the heart of the Kedron Valley. It has been in the Kendall Family for 7 generations and sits on a knoll over looking the village of South Woodstock. Just .2 miles away, the village has a post office, South Woodstock Country Store and the Kedron Valley Inn. South Woodstock is known for the Green Mountain Horse Association and the equestrian trail system. Some of the trails are suitable for walking or hiking.
Your host would be Chip Kendall who resides on the second floor of the house. You would have the first floor of the farm house that includes a farm style kitchen, living room, two bedrooms with private baths and washer/dryer.

Directions
From Interstate 89 and 91 in White River Jct., VT
Route 4 traveling west to Woodstock and pick up Route 106 (at the Woodstock Inn) and travel south five miles. The Kedron Valley Inn is directly ahead, turn a hard right. Keep white schoolhouse (now a residence) on your left and white fence on your right on Kendall Road (formerly Sugarhouse Rd.). Skip first left – we are the next driveway on your left. Large 4-square home.
From Interstate 91 in Springfield, VT (exit 7)
Route 106 traveling north to South Woodstock passing through several small villages. Passing by the Green Mtn. Horse Assn. on your right, road takes a sharp curve to the left (fire station directly ahead), next the Kedron Valley Inn is directly ahead. Do not cross the bridge on this sharp curve. Instead, there are two dirt roads to the right of the Inn – straight is Church Hill Road – to the right of that is Kendall Road (formerly Sugarhouse Rd.), skip first left – we are the next driveway on the left Large 4-square home.
